Health and Human Services
Sponsoring “Let’s Shop Healthy”, a supermarket shopping experience, and "Trunk or Treat", a Halloween project, with parents and children to encourage healthy food choices. And collaborating with Mayor Holden’s “Healthy Baton Rouge” initiative focusing on childhood obesity.
Services to Youth
Joining with the Pennington Bio-Medical Research Center in a year-long focus on childhood obesity with parents and children at a local head start program.

Partnering with the LSU Ag Center and Freeman-Matthews Head Start with a focus on maintaining healthy organs.
